PROJECT OVERVIEW: PHP/RExxEL purchased & fully repurposed this former coal-fired power plant into one of the largest Blockchain Data Centers in the northeast (featured here by the Wall Street Journal) before selling it in Q3 2021. At the height of the pandemic, PHP also dedicated state-of-the-art computing power from the facility to fighting COVID by contributing to the world's largest supercomputer as part of the COVID moonshot. PHP's contribution to the project was powerful enough to put it into the top 1% of global contributors alongside Amazon, Microsoft and Oracle.
